Pentatonic Scale Inversion

The inspiration for this study is to develop fluency with the pentatonic scale in all positions across the neck. I’ve based this exercise on the B minor/D major pentatonic scale, using a four-note sequenced pattern. The top section of the page applies this pattern across five distinct positions. The bottom section moves the same pattern horizontally up the neck, maintaining a consistent string grouping on each line. Ultimately, the goal is to unify these vertical and horizontal approaches to create a more complete and practical understanding of the scale across the entire fretboard.
