I built this comping study on a chord progression in the key of Cmajor mostly built on the cycle but also includes some tri-tone subs, extended harmony and altered dominant chords.
The study follows three phases starting with the chords being arpeggiated pushing the 2nd and 4th bars of each phrase by an eighth note. That pushed rhythm will be used throughout.
The second page uses a two bar Bossa Nova pattern and the third page, also Bossa Nova, layers the picking into bass, melody and chord.
