Written in 2024, this tune began as a simple three-measure idea originally discovered in 2022. Two years later it evolved into a fully developed tune with two distinct sections. I initially chose to use only dominant chords as a compositional challenge, and ultimately, the resulting bluesy texture played a key role in shaping the final melody. RedShift performed the tune regularly at the blue Beach Café in Newport Beach, California.
