“Medium Rare” is a composition I wrote in 2012 for Goodis & Glenn. We recorded and released it on our CD Dialogue. I later revisited the piece for my Quarantine 2020 project. This tune is another example of my exploration of the jazz aesthetic of the 1950s, particularly drawing inspiration from West Coast Cool Jazz.
