“JD” was composed on October 18, 2005, as a tribute to my good friend and jazz guitar legend, Joe Diorio. I met Joe while performing a weekly gig at the Gaucho Grill in Brea, California. At the time, he lived within walking distance of the venue and would come in each week to hear me play. We quickly struck up a friendship.
